Recycling & Solid Waste Management

The Dubois County Solid Waste Management District strives to provide quality services to residents of Dubois County, Indiana through recycling and proper disposal of waste.

Process Center

The Dubois County Solid Waste Management District’s Process Center accepts many items not accepted at the county recycling sites. Items include: TVs, computers, e-waste and small appliances, fluorescent bulbs, paint, household hazardous waste (HHW), flammables, used cooking oil, scrap metals, large items such as couches and mattresses. Most items require a fee from $.25 to $20. The Center is available for use by Dubois County residents, agencies, organizations and small businesses. Residents are responsible for unloading items brought to the Process Center.

Hours


The Process Center public hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm. As a county office, we do observe all county holidays and closures. Please check our Facebook page for upcoming closings.
We offer once a month Saturday hours March through November for residents who cannot use our daily hours. 2024 Saturday Hours

Location

1103 S. 350 W., Jasper. Turn west at the SR 231/162 intersection and follow signs.

Detailed directions: Follow 100 W. to the T and turn south (left). Stay on Old Huntingburg Rd. until the four way stop and turn north (right) onto 350 W. The office and process center are located on the west (left) side of the road within 1/4 mile.
