County History	Dubois County Voter Information Voting Information Portal  - IN.gov site that gives information on registration, absentee voting, photo ID's, and more. Polling Places Candidates Election Results    The deadline to register to vote, or to transfer voter registration, for the 2012 General Election is Tuesday , October 9, 2012.  Registration forms must be received in the Clerk’s office by 4:00 p.m.  October 9th, 2012 or mailed forms must be postmarked by October 9th, 2012. Voters may register at the Clerk’s office, at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, or on-line at www.indianavoters.com.  Voters may also check their current registration information, download an application for an absentee ballot, and see the candidates on their ballot at www.indianavoters.com. Absentee voting for the 2012 Primary Election will begin on Monday, October 8th,2012 and will continue through noon on Monday, November 5th, 2012.  The schedule for absentee voting at the courthouse is as follows:     Monday through Friday:               8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.                                                        (NOTE:  Closed between 11 a.m. and Noon)         Saturday, October 27th              8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.         Saturday, November  3th                8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Satellite voting is taking place at the following locations: Huntingburg Event Center                                                          Ferdinand Community Center October 25th, 2012     11:00am---5:00pm                October 26th, 2012    11:00am--5:00pm October 31st, 2012     11:00am---5:00pm                October 27th, 2012    8:00am—12:00pm November 2nd, 2012   11:00am---5:00pm                 October 30th, 2012    11:00am—5:00pm November 3rd, 2012   8:00am---12:00pm                  November 1st, 2012   11:00am---5:00pm                   Voters wishing to vote absentee by mail must submit an Application for  Absentee Ballot in order to receive a ballot by mail.  Requests must be received in the Clerk’s office by Monday, October 29, 2012.  The deadline to submit an application for absentee ballot requesting to vote before the Travel Board is Monday, November 5, 2012  at noon.  Applications can be obtained from the Clerk’s office or at www.indianavoters.com.
